Ga-phong Dongma
the bat-headed dakini
Ngak’chang Rinpoche says of Ga-phong Dongma:
The mysteriously menacing form of the monstrous ravening bat-headed dakini, is the nocturnal mistress of lowering thunderclouds. She inhabits the dark, like an impenetrable shadow of terror in which all minions of delusion perish in the immutable gloom of her presence. Within the adumbration of her venomous vajra darkness, monism, dualism, nihilism and eternalism wither in the desolation of eternal night.
