Kyabjé Künzang Dorje Rinpoche and Jomo Sam’phel are shown here outside on their apartment balcony at Tsogyel Gé’phel Jong. Jomo Sam’phel wears her maroon yogini’s chuba dress, and Kyabjé Künzang Dorje Rinpoche wears his yogi’s gom-tag (meditation strap) with Khamba regional clothing. It was on this occasion that Seng-gé Dorje (an ordained disciple of Ngak’chang Rinpoche and Khandro Déchen) witnessed Kyabjé Künzang Dorje Rinpoche performing spontaneous folk dances and folk songs of Kham (the Eastern province of Tibet). This was a cause of great merriment and mirth on the part of Jomo Sam’phel.
