Kushog Jampal la is one of the sons of A’pho Rinpoche who founded the Drukpa Kagyüd Gompa in Manali, Kulu Valley, Himachal Pradesh, India. Jampal la organised the Confederate Sanghas of Aro pilgrimage to Lahaul, Spiti, Zanskar, and Ladhak in 1992. The pilgrimage visited many Drukpa Kagyüd gompas where Ngak’chang Rinpoche & Khandro Déchen and their apprentices were warmly received. The pilgrimage concluded in Leh – the capital of Ladhak where Jampal la and his family have a residence and shrine room. Like all A’pho Rinpoche’s children Jampal and his wife are practitioners.
