Bursting forth from the Chö-nyid (Dharmata), the black Razor Lady of ruthless compassion manifests. In the Chö-ku she is Kuntuzangmo, the Long-ku reveals her to be Dorje Naljorma, in the Trül-ku she is Tröma Nakmo. She soars through the Chö-nyid devouring the malice of conceited vow breakage, drinking the blood of vow-breakers with lustful reserve. According to the Düd’jom gTér, she arises from the blue / black Hung.
With regard to the vehicles, she is associated with mDo (Sutra), rGyüd (Tantra) and Sems (Dzogchen). Through Ma-gÇig Labdrön she is associated with the Prajnaparamita Sutra, which actually speaks of the underlying principles of all the vehicles: emptiness and the non-duality of emptiness and form. Through the ritual practice of gÇod, Tröma is also a Tantric practice belonging to Mahayoga. Finally, as a yidam, Tröma corresponds with atiyoga.
