Lama Lödrö Rinpoche

Lama Lödrö Rinpoche first met Ngak’chang Rinpoche in 1990 when he was visiting Gyaltsen Rinpoche at his old residence near the Rang-jung Chörten (Swayambhunath). Lama Lödrö Rinpoche is a master of Tantric orchestral music and Ngak’chang Rinpoche and Gyaltsen Rinpoche spent many hours with him at that time making recordings of Nyingma gyèling refrains from the Mindroling tradition (sadly, the tapes were stolen and all the work lost.) Lama Lödrö Rinpoche lives most of the time now in retreat at Tsogyel Gé’phel Jong where he and his Sang-yum Khandro Nyi-da Wangmo practise together.
