Ngakma Shardröl is a Lama whose heart is wide open, spacious, and kind. Her knowledge is well-rounded through her experience of living the view. When listening to her students, or leading yogic song during retreats, Ngakma Shardröl’s attention is relaxed and singly focused, residing in the spaciousness of the moment. Ngakma Shardröl sometimes teaches and inspires through stories of her own experiences with her Tsawa’i Lamas, vulnerabilities, and processes – and all with great humour. On an individual level she listens carefully to her students – succinctly addressing their many and varied questions or concerns with the voice and wisdom of a woman in the lineage of Khyungchen Aro Lingma. Students find it impossible to take themselves too seriously when in discussion with Ngakma Shardröl. Her natural joyousness is infectious.
